I'm a student of cognitive science and an educator. I'm obsessed with how the mind represents information and how humans solve problems, especially of the mathematical sort.

I help my students by figuring out the root causes of the challenges they're experiencing in mathematics. My goal is to address the issues fundamentally, whether they are topic-specific, attentional, motivational, spiritual, all of the above, or otherwise. I draw from the best practices in math pedagogy, cognitive science, psychology, and philosophy to tackle these issues from every angle, finding creative solutions that are personalized to each student and creating lasting change.

In my own life, I strive to create meaning through music, cultivate flow through martial arts practice, find peace through mindfulness, and become slightly wiser through research. I aspire to become a professor and contribute all I can to our understanding of how we think and learn.
